Our inner consciousness:

The degree of self-worth you estimate for yourself largely depends on how the people around you treat you. Therefore living with people of good and happy attitude. Choose friends who help you feel better about yourself and motivate you.
Try thinking positive and evaluate yourself on the bright side of life. Thinking of a man largely defines his behaviour. By feeling grateful and content one can improve his self-confidence. This can be achieved by meditation practice etc.
Work on your body
The health condition and fitness also affect the thinking of a person. Getting involved with yoga, exercises and taking a balanced diet can lead you toward fitness and feel active and energetic the whole day. Your self-confidence will get a boost when you know that you are looking fit and people are admiring you.
Focus on what goes well
One must look towards the positive side of life. Also, one must focus on the good things and stop talking about the problems and the negative things. In short, be happy for the good and ignore the rest. Stop thinking about what’s wrong. Correct your thoughts as soon as you start complaining about self or the day and concentrate on what went well.
Give and help
Helping others is one of the best ways to boost your self -confidence. Being generous and kind with everyone gives you a feeling of satisfaction and helps you generate self-esteem. You start feeling delighted and high.
We must learn to respect ourselves and have a self-esteem that is very necessary for our growth and development as well as for our mental well being and happiness. It is most ideal to have a realistic and yet positive view about oneself.
