Transform Your Team, Transform Your Growth

Transform Your Team, Transform Your Growth

Imagine a group of kids building a sandcastle. Each child has a role – one shapes the towers, the other brings water, and someone smoothens the walls. If one stops doing the work, the sandcastle won’t hold its shape and structure. Your company is similar. Without proper cooperation among employees, you won’t be able to hold the company together.

Fueling Success: Proven Ways to Motivate Your Team

You maximize your success and time management by leveraging the collective power of others, transforming over 8 hours of their work into exponential growth and achievement. That’s why team-building training is essential in any organization.

Why Team-Building is Key to Organizational Growth

When my team (Ritu Singal) wasn’t doing what they had to, there were two things that I wanted to do: one was to shout at them and yell at them. Two was to throw them out from the company. Both options I couldn’t do. So, I asked them what it takes to fly an aeroplane. Each one gave me answers: fuel, pilot, money. Then I asked them how our company would run smoothly if some of them weren’t working properly.

I instilled a sense of belonging in them, which then helped them share a common goal. When they felt aligned with my vision and got serious about bringing a change in the company, they made a difference. All it took for me (Ritu Singal) was to sit with them in person, identify their strengths and weaknesses, and make them feel seen, heard, and secure. Then they felt cherished.

However, team-building is not only about that. We all know that conflicts in teams create chaos and mismanagement within teams. Miscommunication is one of the most common issues that destroys a team. Employees either assume or form judgments based on half-baked information.

But, that is not the only reason for conflicts. Some purposely create conflicts to climb the corporate ladder or bring down the company. These vicious tactics then lead to the good employees leaving the company.

That is why team-building training is about providing the skills, training, and resources your people need to achieve organizational goals cordially. To achieve the desired results, it must be an ongoing process and embedded in your team.

There are many reasons why team-building is essential for your organization. Firstly, team-building training helps break the ice between your employees. There are many employees in your own company who don’t know each other, either because they are afraid to speak up or they haven’t had the chance to get to know each other.

Team-building helps each one understand each other’s diverse personalities and how they function. This then builds better collaboration and shared interests in common goals. Make it a part of your culture. Going to social events helps with this. When you, a leader, share some personal aspects of your life and have a little fun with them, they find you more empathetic, authentic, and compassionate.

Even small things, such as dressing slightly informally, make them feel more relatable to you, which enhances your image in their eyes. My employees don’t feel the gap between a boss and an employee.

When I had interactions and gave each of them feedback regarding marketing or sales, they pushed the company to another level. It has also been one of the cornerstones of my Women Entrepreneur of the Year award.

Cultivating gratitude should be a part of your routine, and adding games where one talks about the other person’s strengths can bring about a change in perspective toward each other in any employee setting. The daily practice of gratitude can also fail to form a part of the success process.

This then leads to seeing more opportunities where there were once obstacles. Luck in business doesn’t just happen; you train yourself and your employees to be lucky. You do things that make you lucky, such as putting in the hard work where it is required, creating smart strategies, reviewing progress weekly, etc. This helps you have leverage over your competitors.

Lastly, if you instil self-belief in your employees that they can create wonders, they do. The power of seeing the best in someone is the most underrated concept. It’s called the Michelangelo effect. This phenomenon helps individuals become the best version of themselves through a supportive relationship. You will see the miracles of this effect if you continuously apply it.

There are so many other ways to build a team. However, if you want to see the fruits of it, hiring an expert like me will be more beneficial. You will get the results 10x faster. Want to see how my team-building training can transform your organisation? Book you first session now.
